Common questions

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, tap the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. You'll be asked to confirm twice — once to acknowledge that the action is permanent, and again by typing DELETE. Your favorites, gift profiles, partner connections, and quiz history are immediately removed.

How do I share a gift profile?

After creating a profile, open it from the Profile tab → Gift Profiles. Tap Share to use your phone's share sheet (text message, email, etc.) or Copy link to paste it anywhere. The link is unguessable but anyone who has it can view the list, so share it with people you trust.

How does the daily quiz work?

Invite a partner — your spouse, best friend, sibling, or anyone else — from the Quiz tab. Once they accept, you both get one question a day about each other's favorites. Each of you answers your own pick and guesses theirs; the round reveals when both of you have submitted. Streaks count consecutive days where the round revealed.

I'm getting too many notifications. How do I turn them off?

Go to iOS Settings → Notifications → FavoritesHQ and turn off Allow Notifications. We won't ask again unless you re-enable it from Settings.
